Strained off a new batch of blackberry/cherry bounce. Sorted out the cherries. Made a simple syrup with brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. And preserved the cherries for Old Fashioned cocktails! It is mask repair week. Got the two faces hung. Now I’m gluing fish man. Though I hung the two faces, I may move them to one side of the large painting with fish man on the other. My life is so exciting. I’m also ecstatic about 50 sheets of paper arriving. Only an artist gets excited about the materials of there work showing up.

From my sketch book. The left is me trying to keep warm on Jackson Square. You would think I was dressed up for freezing weather. But, no. It’s in the low 50’s. Southern girl dresses for the cold. The right is a recurring dream I have a couple times a year where I’m showering in public. Anybody else have this dream? Typically, I’m shocked to discover the shower is in the middle of this public space. And people are looking on. This time, I was ok with it and more concerned that people get out of my way.
